Heidi Stewart Appointed to Lawyer Effectiveness and Quality of Life Committee

Asheville attorney Heidi Stewart is pleased to announce that she has been appointed by North Carolina Bar Association President-Elect Kearns Davis, to serve on the Lawyer Effectiveness & Quality of Life Committee for the 2016-17 fiscal year. The Lawyer Effectiveness & Quality of Life Committee engages in activities to help attorneys successfully practice law in an increasingly complex and competitive profession. Heidi’s term of office began July 1.

Heidi is a United States District Court Mediator for the Western District of North Carolina, a certified mediator and Autoline Arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau of Western North Carolina. She is the former president of the 28th Judicial District Bar, and has served in the past as the Assistant Director of the Mediation Center, Inc. and as Executive Director of The Family Visitation Center Group, Inc.

Heidi’s additional focus is in the realm of attorney wellness and satisfaction in the practice of law, which uniquely suits her for this appointment. She provides coaching and continuing education services to lawyers in an effort to assist them in attaining a work-life balance and greater enjoyment in their careers.

Heidi Stewart focuses her practice on matters involving estate planning and administration, elder law, business matters, and family law issues. She accepts referrals in these areas and serves clients throughout Western North Carolina.
